David Shugliashvili

David Shugliashvili is a musicologist specialized in Church Music, and a representative of the first generation of the acclaimed choir of the Anchiskhati church (Tbilisi), famous for its restoration efforts to return Georgian chant to the Divine Service, where he serves as a member and a producer. Dr. Shugliashvili works at the Musical Department of Georgian National Library and as an associated professor at St. Giorgi Mtatsmindeli University of Church Chant and Tbilisi National Conservatory. He is the author of more than twenty scientific works and articles, the main subjects being Georgian traditional music and chant.
