Csala Orbán (b. 1999) graduated the Sigismund Toduță College of Music in Cluj-Napoca (2018). She played the piano for 12 years, participating in most of the annual editions of the Johann Sebastian Bach and Pro Piano festivals. During college years, she performed both as a soloist and piano accompanist on the occasion of the musical evenings organised by her college in collaboration with Radio Cluj. In her senior year she attended Professor Csíky Boldizsár’s masterclass. In 2020, as a second-year student at the Gheorghe Dima National Music Academy, Cluj-Napoca, where she trains in musicology, Csala Orbán was awarded first prize at the National University of Music Bucharest Students’ Musicology Competition. Now, in her third year at the Cluj-Napoca Academy, she is also the author of a concert reviewin local newspaper Szabadság.
