Dana Borșan – recipient of the Schumann (Zwickau) Award and the Romanian Musical Criticism Award (1992, 1997, 2006) – consolidated a prestigious career of concerts: 900 concerts and performances in Romania and outside the country, collaborations with 250 conductors, 16 records, almost 50 concerts in her repertoire. She put back into circulation the concert by Hanns Wolf, which she presented in concerts and recorded for KU Classics. An artist of vast musical culture, she masters a consistent repertoire and an attractive programme for recitals and chamber music.
A concert soloist of the Radio music ensemble, Dana Borşan has finished in 2006 a unique project: The Complete Concerts for Piano and Orchestra by W.A. Mozart, a premiere in Romanian musical life, manifested in concerts performed alongside The Radio Chamber Orchestra and a series of 8 CD edited by "Casa Radio". Another accomplished project is The Complete Sonatas for Piano and Violin by W. A. Mozart in collaboration with violinist Alexandru Tomescu, a series of concerts very well received by the audience and media.  
Parallel to her artistic activity, Dana Borşan has a remarkable didactic career; PhD at the National University of Music Bucharest, she leads since 1990 a piano course, her students obtaining numerous awards at national and international contests. Since 2008, she is the Prorector of this prestigious institution.
