Fausta Dimulescu

Fausta Dimulescu graduated the Gheorghe Dima Music Academy in Cluj Napoca, studying piano with Ferdinand Weiss. In 1998 she was awarded a PhD in music for her thesis The Prelude from Bach to Debussy: Landmark of Piano Writing in the European Music. She is lecturer at the National Music University of Bucharest, Department of Orchestral Instruments, Accompaniment Class. She performed as a soloist and accompanist in important Romanian musical institutions, in the George Enescu International Festival (2013, 2015) with soprano Georgeta Stoleriu, violonist Corina Bololoi, violist Leona Varvarichi and pianist Vlad Dimulescu. Together with Leona Varvarichi (viola) and Ștefan Neagoe (cello), she recorded a CD with Sonatas by Johannes Brahms, Wilhelm Georg Berger, Franz Schubert.
